Afternoon everyone,
Can anyone point out what the correct thread is for my poor '48 ES2 rocker box and engine? The originals have had a hard life and need to be replaced.
A quick look through ebay seems to indicate that there is at least two different types out there (maby more?)
BSF bolts with 55 degree thread angle
or
CEI bolts with 60 degree thread angle
Thoughts?

Only 1/4 BSF and 1/4 CEI have the same pitch (26 TPI), and to all intents and purposes these are interchangeable. All other sizes of CEI have 26 TPI, but BSF pitch varies with diameter. There are also a few oddball Cycle threads with 20 TPI in larger sizes.
