Where is a good position to fit one of these. Was hoping to fit mine on the metal plate which previously held the rectifier and bolt the plate in its normal place. This is fine but there doesn't seem to be room enough for the regulator to 'slot' in between the mudguard and frame tube just behind the side panel. Pics would be great of where you've fixed yours.

Mine is under the coil bra…
Mine is under the coil bracket held by two longer that normal bolts of the four that hold the bracket to the frame. These then have nyloc nuts to hold the regulator but i did have to elongate the regulator mounting holes a little. I put i there as it gets good air flow over it and you can't see it unless you are layed flat on your back on the floor.

Not knowing any better, I made a bracket to mount mine at the back of and hanging below the battery carrier.
