Recommended supplier for control levers?

Forums

Greetings from South Australia,

Can anyone recommend a reliable supplier for a pair of good quality 7/8" (handlebar diameter) chrome control levers (clutch & brake) with ball ends, but they must have 7/8" pivot centres and no adjusters. After some research through all the usual reference sources, it would appear that this style are correct for a 1964 650 SS. I have some with adjusters but cables supplied would need to be modified and I can use these levers on another project which they have a better match. AMC spares list them, but are currently on holidays and I need to get this bike completer ASAP.

I bought a very nice set for my Bonny from Murray at Brit Bikes. He got them in over night for me, though mine area bit different to what you want, but he may be able to get the correct ones for your bike. He is on his way back from the T.T. at the moment. Post from U.K. to OZ is now around three plus weeks, and $$$$$$$

I bought a set from Norvil for my 1965 650SS without ball ends or adjusters. They look to be good quality and cost £32 plus p&p. The part number is 000111.

Good luck!

Thanks Gentlemen, yes Paul I will see Murray when he returns from his trip. In the meantime I will also talk to Fecked. AMC spares are back on Monday too, so maybe I need to be a bit more patient!

Thanks again all.

Rgds Steve
