Hi All,
Just stripped down the petrol tap on my wideline ES2. The corks are past saving, I thought I read somewhere that ethanol affects cork, is this correct? are there any cork replacements that are not affected?
The last question I would like to ask is, the tap thats fitted has 2 plungers on opposite sides is this the correct type? it a bit of a fiddle to turn on the petrol being tucked away behind the frame rail.
Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,
Your petrol tap is the same as on an early Dominator 88 (I have one). One plunger is the main feed, the other for "Reserve". Ethanol does definitely NOT affect the cork, they are both vegetable products.
