Levers

Forums

I’ve bought these Doherty levers for my jubilee but the holes aren’t big enough for the original bolts I’ve got, Is it acceptable to drill them out or have I bought the wrong ones?  they don’t seem to look right but they would probably do the job .

Where did the levers come from? Are they listed for the Jubilee? Many part are shared with the FB Cruiser - you could try the FB club, thats where I got my oil tank cap.

Are they the correct throw from pivot bolt to cable pull (centrelines)?  Don't know which you should use but its important that the cable is pulled through the centre of the fixed part of the lever on the handlebar.

Jon

Dan /Jon,  I got them from ebay, theres so many that all look the same hole distances so its a lottery,

Im back in the shed soon so will have another go I think they will work if I open up the hole up or get a smaller bolt,

will look out for Frances Barber parts now.

Thanks

As someone said elsewhere on here said you buy a lot of the wrong spares before you get the right ones,
