Late Jubilee camshaft bush needed

Forums

Curiously, only one of the four camshaft bushes on my 1965 Jubilee has excessive play and needs replacing but I cannot find a supplier. I need the timing side exhaust cam bush. I suspect that inlet and exhaust bushes are the same on the timing side.

The NOC shop lists several bushes but they appear to be for 'single' engines.

If anyone knows the part number and better still a supplier please let me know.

Many thanks, Dennis

Hello there,

The inlet and exhaust bushes are the same on the timing side BUT the 1959 Spares list quotes the part number as 20771A and the 1961/62 quotes the part number as 22925. So you really want someone with a later parts list to confirm this in case there were further changes.

The 1959 and the 1961/62 list quote the driving side bushes as part number 20772A.

Sorry. I have no idea as to a likely supplier.

Try Russell Motors as the bought all the stock that was left over from Taylor Mattersons when they closed down. I remember seeing rows of boxes of parts for the lightweights at the premises in Bedford Hill in Balham, so Russell's may still have some of it left over. The 1964 parts book for the Norton Jubilee publication No, PLN.I. gives the part numbers for the camshaft bushes as follows. 22925 Camshaft bush timing side 2. 20772A Camshaft bush drive side 2
