Jubilee/Navigator Headers

Forums

My project seems to be going far slower than I planned, - Dont they always - I'm still waiting for my barrels to be rebored and machined (so a left can be used as a right), but I'm hopeful that I'll get them back next week. Which means I should be able to start putting it back together soon, In the meantime I only have one jubilee header so need another - anyone got any old but servicable ones they would like to sell, I'm not worried about the chrome? Ultimately I will be making a custom system but I will need a pair for my Navigator project that seems to be progessing a bit more quickly - I now have a barrel and pistons to add to the crank cases etc. So the question is are the navigator and jubilee headers the same and if not are they interchangable?

Hi Dan,

Jubilee and Navigator pipes are identical in diameter and almost identical in shape but they have slightly different bends because the Navigator engine is 1/2" taller.

So Jubilee pipes can probably be stretched to fit the Navigator - at least in my case I made a Jubilee pipe fit on the Navigator but it already had a rotten bit which I cut out and butt welded to make it fit.

Some ads I have seen give the impression that the Jubilee and Navigator pipes are identical which probably means they don't fit either machine properly without some bending. You shouldn't have any problems in locating some useable Jubilee items near you. I should have some here but the carriage costs from Ireland are more than the pipes are worth.

Patrick.
