Hello i am looking for a pair of standard sized barrels with no fin damage for my jubilee, also can anyone help me with where i can find a new oil pump.

Also, after having my crankcase in the oven to remove the main bearing, once it was tapped on the floor to remove the bearing i have a small steel insert that is a similar size to a 8mm washer, it is flat on one side and rounded on the other, the only place i can think it fell out of is where the crankcase brather pipe screws in, can anyone help, i could send a picture if that would help. Its not listed in the parts book.

Cheers Kelvin.

Pardon me for poking my nose into lightweight stuff. The washer you describe sounds like a retaining/ locking plate for preventing the main bearing from rotating in the crankcases. A common problem on Commandos. I've seen them on photos of racing engines on american websites.

Or Better still, could you post a picture on the web site so we can all have a look and also benefit from the answer if it comes.
