Hi folks well things snowball and all that , so after messing with my 71 fastback I have decided on a full restoration.
The engine has never been apart as far as i know , so I am looking for someone to do a full strip and rebuild of the engine and gearbox with some mild upgrades balanced crank new rods ,belt drive ect
with this in mind can any of you guys recommend someone for the job, I'm in the midlands but happy to travel.

thanks for that , the meet aways seems to clash with work for me I'm afraid ,I guess i was thinking of new rods as I was aiming to get the crank balanced and as the engine is in bits replace the old ones if need be.
at the moment I don't have the time or tooling for an engine rebuild hence why I was thinking of paying a pro
