I have a reprint of an article that appeared in the October 9, 1952 edition of Motorcycling, the author, Cyril Quantrill describes his travels aboard a 596cc Norton Inter that had been built for him by the works in 1948, the bike sounds like it was quite the road burner for its time.
I'm wondering if anyone out there in Nortonland would know of the eventual fate of HOP 866 (the registry number seen in the photos)
