I see these are available again! They weren't when I last looked, earlier this year ... Maybe someone noticed! From AN https://andover-norton.co.uk/en/shop-details/15933/accessory-plug-and-socket-06-2099- RGMhttps://www.rgmnorton.co.uk/buy/power-take-off-accessory-plug-socket_4588.htm# and others.
Thing is, my MK2A's main harness has two spare wires that run down the drive side of the frame, adjacent to the airbox, that I suspect should be for the socket. Is that right? AN's relevant parts diagram puts the socket there. https://andover-norton.co.uk/en/shop-drawing/152/basic-electrical-equipment#Anyway I've always fancied one, I just wonder if anyone might be able to explain in detail how it's attached, or maybe share a close-up photo or several? And, what's the purpose of the unavailable item no. 21 in that parts diagram? TIA!

Thanks Richard, that's pretty much what I thought â the two pin-prick holes are there. Still wondering about that unavailable item 21 ... Cheers.

Call me a cheapskate, but since I've already got a socket I'd be happy to be able to just buy the plug ...

I believe they are the solder on cable terminals that secure the cables to the sockets with two small screws.

Thanks Katherine, that makes sense! Nothing that can't be got around, then. Cheers.
Being part tightwad myself, I'm wondering what size self-tapping screws too, but no doubt I'd find out once I'd bought one of these kits â AN wants 20p plus VAT each for those! A bit bloomin' steep. The kit is marginally cheaper from RGM.

They're fixed by two self-tapping screws to the side bracket of the battery tray. There should be two pin-prick holes (or perhaps larger from previous use) on the tray.
