Hello all,
I recently purchased a 1960 ES2, I have wanted one for 40 years finally got round to buying one. Needs a bit of work to get it through the MOT test. The tyres are too old to use, but I'm not sure of the correct tyre size for the replacements, can someone give me the correct sizes?

The tyre sizes, Chris quoted, for the ES2 are correct. The bike would probably been fitted originally with Avon Speedmaster front, and Avon SM rear. John.

The Norton catalogue for 1960 lists the ES2 as having a 3.00 x 19 front and a 3.50 x 19 rear.
