Good morning everyone,
My book lists A3/145 and A3/146as the part number for the inner and outer valve springs.I have poked around on the Internet and it seemsthat most of the valve springs out there are listed with a Terry's part number.
I have also noticed that there are plenty of listings for pre '48 and then '49 onwards but I have yet to find any specific to a'48.
Does anyone know the Terry's part number forthe set of springs orthe inner and outer individually?

I saw this part number several times on various sites but alwayslisted for1949 and forward models.NowI know what I'm looking for!
BTW: It took me a bit to figure out what 5s 6d was. A bit before my time

I just happen to have a n.o.s. box in the workshop. The contents are labelled 1948- for Norton 490cc E.S.2 and 18. As you can see from the image attached, you are looking for the Terry No. V.S. 421 for the whole set of 2 pairs - although they are likely to cost more than the 5s 6d. shown here.
