1947 Manx front fork top nut size

Forums

Sorry for my ignorance but could someone please let me know the size of the top nut on the early (47) Road Holders. I need to buy a spanner/socket. Sorry, i grew up in the metric age.

Fork Crown Locknut: 7/8W (also marked 1"BS)

Fork Head Race Adjuster Nut: 1"W

Main Tube Filler/Retaining Plug: 13/16W (also marked 15/16BS)

These are as fitted to my 1956 Long Roadholders, but I think the sizes should be the same as your earlier ones. Someone please correct this if I am wrong. Box (tube) spanner should be OK for these nuts unless you are adjusting the head races with the top yoke in situ.

Cheers
