Do I need a special clutch puller for this?

Sorry William, maybe third time lucky.

Clutch pullers are available be are usually not necessary. Remove the clutch spring fixings and remove the thrust plate and springs. With the gearbox in gear and the rear brake applied remove the clutch retaining nut on the gearbox main shaft. The clutch may sometimes be removed by hand but if not, replace the thrust plate and springs, remove the clutch adjuster screw and lock-nut and replace with a bolt with the same thread, (about 2" long should be sufficiant),

Regards, Rob.
