If Les (Russell Motors) doesn't have the tell tale, not many other suppliers will. Paul Norman might (Inter specialist... "racingvincent" web site). They aren't necessary of course. They were dropped during or just after the War. The only reason they fitted them was because riders in the early 30's were used to pumping oil into their engines and didn't quite trust this automatic oiling dry sump nonsense.
