Hi I seem to have end float on magneto drive engine sprocket is this right.

According to the manual, the cams should have .004" end float. If you have more than that then it may be noisy. How much do you have ? Chains can cope with quite a bit. I don't think it's going to cause problems for the magneto...Perhaps just worth having shims in stock for next time the timing cover is off ?

Thanks Richard, I have far more than 004" going to measure and let you know.
It seems to be only in one position when turning sprocket.
