|Hello members I have just acquired a 61 ES2 .It is a nice bike but I am not sure what the spark plug gap should be . The books say 15 to 20 thou with a mag and bigger if you have a coil 20 to 22. Measured mine at 55 thou I have boyer branson ignition modification and 12 volts and I think a electronic ignition . She starts up well but I am slowly servicing the bike so I am not sure what the spark plug gap should be . Thank you for any help or advice John

Hello,normaly spark plug gap with battery ignition is 28 to 30 thou.
