I have a 1938 CS1. The factory record states that it had a Bosch Magdyno fitted. Does any one know what model of Bosch Magdyno this would have been. I would like to get it back to factory original.

The 1930s factory records are wonderful but the details included are merely a summary of what was fitted, presumably to aid in warranty claims or the supply of spares.
Many Overseas customers chose Bosch electrics but the specific lichtmagnetzÃ?nder fitted would have been whatever the customer ordered.
It might be worth contacting John de Kruif at vintagenorton.com to see if he has any documentation.
