Hi
Is there anyone that can tell me what BHP my 1936 Norton 50 is supposed to have? Roughly?
or where I can find that info?
Thanks
Sue
Susan.. You possibly know…
Susan.. You possibly know Bacon's Norton Singles lists 20 bhp for the 1955 to 1958 repeat version. It probably hadn't changed much from the 30s. I doubt if Norton used to put non-racing bikes anywhere near a dynomometer in the 1930s! I wonder if anyone knows?

Hi Sue - I agree with Davi…
Hi Sue - I agree with David's comments. Bacon is silent on the matter but 20bhp from '55 to '58 so "roughly" 18 to 20 bhp in 1936. George
