I have acquired a 1952 16H most of the bike is o/k with all the correct parts, but the front end I is wrong, it has long roadholder forks with aluminium sliders andan extrafeature in the right hand slidercastingjust above the brake anchor point I have not seen this feature beforeona slider,and it dose not doanything.It came with an iron full width bolt up8 inch hub. I think I need a 1/2 width hub but do I need an 8 inch or7"to go in the roadholder forks?? HELP

I'm pretty sure it would have had the 7 inch single sided front wheel. I'm assuming that it has.a plunger frame? The 8 inch single sided brake was only used for a short time, around 54/55, so are hard to find.

My 55 es2 has the same casting as does the spare of long roadholders I have, no idea what the casting was for but it seems to be common.
Cant help with the wheels I'm afraid
