Hi. The swing arm of my Dommie project has a good set of original steel/rubber bushes in. I was thinking of getting the frame powder coated but I’m not sure that the swing arm bushes would survive the heat of the powder coating oven. Would the heat destroy the bushes? Or should I just get the main part of the frame powder coated and have the swing arm painted?
Any opinions?

Rubber survives Powder…
Rubber survives Powder coating and stove enamel unless they were on their way out anyway.

400°F to powder coat.....
... rubber melting point, 356°F. A big pain in the posterior to replace those bushes.
