I'm recommissioning my ES2. Its currently fitted with an Armours seat from the '80s. Its quite servicable but fairly shapeless. I still have what I believe is the original pan so I was interested in having it rebuilt.
Can anyone conform the nature of any texture in the covering material and also the colour of the piping?
A photograph of an original seat?

Thanks Les really good info. I've contacted Leightons about a complete seat. Sending my pan from Australia isn't likely to be cost effective but worth asking. I have a local trimmer who is confident about turning out a good result. They seat is reasonably shapeless in any case but yours is certainly better than the old one I have currently. It was all I could get at the time so I was happy with that. A work in progress.

Thanks John, I've emailed Leightons and they can supply me a seat but the cover and foam option works really well for me. Way cheaper than I can get it done locally and I'll renovate and use my own seat pan. Valuable information from the NOC again. Much appreciated.

The Model 7 seat is identical:
LEIGHTON's did the recover and new foam so they know the shape...However I would say the originals were just a touch thinner,...(lower height) refer to archive photos you can point this out if you choose to use them....Your choice.....Les
NB The 4.3MB photo allows close up inspection of surface grain
