What ammeter was fitted to the 1959 Jubilee. Was it Lucas, ive seen a couple of Jubilees that look like they have had a Miller type unit fitted.

Hi John, I am not certain about early Jubilees but all the later lightweights used Wipac ammeters, switches, rectifiers and alternators and I think that was standard right from the start - if you use the history link on the menu bar above and select lightweight and scroll down to the Electrics heading you will see the club history confirms that. The NOC shops sells good replica ammeters and the chrome cover that the Wipac original had.
