It seems my 6 spring clutch on my 31 Model 20 has 2 different sets of springs.
Are these springs the same as the later 3 plate clutch?
I would like to put in 6 new springs
I'm also still looking for an Exhaust rocker arm. My last resort is to cut a new key way in the rocker shaft to reposition the later rocker arm.
Sturmey Archer clutch spings.

Thanks Richard Too bad…
Thanks Richard
Too bad Martin doesn't have E mail. To call from Canada is very expensive.
I'll send a letter to him to this week asking if the springs are still available.

Hi Ian,
I didn't realise you were in Canada and assumed you were in the UK. I guess this makes it more difficult to restore a bike of this age, so re-making the rocker/shaft will be the quickest route to go.

Sturmey Archer clutch spings.
Hi Ian,
I will be going to Kempton Park auto-jumble this Saturday (all being well) and Martin is usually there with his general stock. If it is of any help, I could buy the springs and post them to you. At a guess I think this will cost around Can.$21 altogether. You should be able to contact my email through this forum if you're interested.

Hi Ian,
These 6 spring clutches were made by Sturmey Archer and were fitted to other makes like Brough Superior etc. The 6 springs should all be the same size and are smaller and have less tension individually than the later 3 spring Norton type. Martin Bratby (the carburettor man) makes these and when I bought mine last year they were 90p each, postage will be extra.
Regarding the rocker arm, have you tried putting a wanted ad. in the VMCC journal. I don't think you have to be a member and there are probably more vintage Norton owners than the NOC. The other option is trawling through numerous auto-jumbles!
