Hi Campbell Adie Aberdeen,I am trying to remove the on/of light switch from the headlamp switch panel on the above. I have removed the lighting switch knob which leaves the bakelite bezel plate. I am unable to get any movement on it or on the main body of the switch on the underside of the panel There appears to be no fixing screws or clips holding them in place, apart from forcing it off with the inevitable breaking of the bakelite anyone out there worked on this part, I have tried WD40 and gentle heat but to no avail. Thanks in anticipation on any replies. Campbell

Hi Anna, thanks very much…
Hi Anna, thanks very much for replying if you don't need your switch i will be pleased to buy it from you. the one on the headlamp shell does not have the retaining clip nor any obvious screw or nut holding it in place so trying to remove it will require persausion and the inevitable damage. Let me know how to go about getting in touch and paying Regards Campbell
