I came across these pictures in my 'Norton' file on my PC, Can't remember anything about them or indeed where I got them from but they do seem to be a very unobtrusive 'Isolastic' modification - does anybody know more about them? - I'd like to read up on it.

I do wonder what happens to featherbed frame headstocks when the frame is converted to isolastic!! How is the headstock supported with no headsteady? I know the new replica frames genralgen have extra support tubes to the headstock,
But the original featherbed relies on the motor as a stressed member to support it? I had read of race bikes that have had the head steady break during a race and the bikes handling goes out the window!!
