Government "Initiative" preventing classic vehicles from entering London

Firstly, apologies to Chris for "bombing" the web site (eeek!), with my last post on this subject.

The "initiative" was originally aimed at preventing dirty old diesel lorries and vans from polluting the city; however, it appears that there may be a stealthy widening of the net by the powers that be (how odd...), who seemingly will give no assurances about any exceptions.You can read about the background to this story on the Classic & Sports Car (C&SC) web site.

So, if you feel that this misdirected "initiative" should not prevent you from taking your old bike into London (then every city, then every town, then everywhere), then please sign the petition of the C&SC magazines' web-site and pass this on if you see fit to do so.
