I am in the US but I have a friend in the UK that wants to import a Triumph Adventurer back into the UK. Anyone have a suggestion as to a good agent to use?
Also, what kind of duties, customs charges, VAt, etc, etc might he have to expect?

Try Kingstown Shipping - very helpful, and quoting £750 shipping to bring a bike from Vancouver to the UK. I would imagine less from the US. If it is a British bike over 30 years old and factory original it gets better, as there is no import duty, and the vat goes down from 20% to 5%.
The Historical Vehicle vat bit needs some form filling in advance (takes up to 5 weeks to process), or Kingstown do it all for a flat rate of £75.00.
