Hi all, I have just purchased a 1956 Manx Norton today from the Bonhams Spring Stafford sale, believed to beex-Derek Minter and Geoff Duke motorcycle, I was just wondering if any one could help me trace its history and any previous owners it may of had and any pictures of its race days would be fantastic, Thanks Chris.

Congratulations on your purchase, I hope you have a great time with it.
There are not many regulars on this forum who have Manx history knowledge and so please don't be disappointed if you get little response. The people you would like to hear from are unlikely to be silver surfers anyway!
I suggest that you phone Barry Stickland and also Chris Streather to have a brief chat. Also put a picture in the NOC magazine with what you know and an invitation to contact you.
