AGE uk Men in Sheds prodject

Hello All now Age Uk Are doing the Men in Sheds project so single men or married men can have a get together and pass on their skills or learn new skills Now this can apply to our club were members can get together and meet and help out each others project in stead of been on your own any way I hope some of you can see your way to setting something up on these lines witch would help out each other as members , and bring branches closer together and better commaradary Yours Anna J

Thanks, Anna. There's one being set up not far from me. Too far to be of use; but they seem to be a success so far. And I'm pretty sure that they are not all that rigourous in their membership limits. I'm quite sure that someone with your background would be welcome. Social groups like this are alleged to improve life expectancy...but I suppose they used to be known as Churches!

Yes, it was in jest, this day and age any female member of the NOC should be more than welcome to take part it should be the norm for all members without discretion. I have met some very good female engineers, and from a projects point of view they generally had a better success rate than than their male counterparts, it seemed as the project was more thought through from start to finish.
