Model 7 shocks

Mine measure 12 3/4" between centres ('55 model) but should be the same for the earlier versions.

My model 7 is a 1954 model, the distance between eyes on my shocks is 12.4 inch, I'll be very surprised if its different to the 1955 model!

Hi all,

Checked and it is 12 3/4 on my '55 model(made oct 54, fitted with carb from an 88 of the same year. Factory mistake or what was laying around?). The bike is pretty much as it left the factory except for the seat, silencers & headers and front rim. It is also wearing most of it's original paint leaving me in no doubt that the parts fitted are factory originals. It even still has the correct brake/clutch levers and about 80% of the original wiring which still works.

I wish I could find more bikes like this!
