961 alarm/tracker/security

Hi all,any thoughts on alarms / tracker/ security devices on new 961,s, any suggestions welcome,apart from big chain & lock in garage , many thanks Richard

Big chain, ground anchorand lock is still the most effective...

However, if I remember correctly, Norton offered me the option of having a factory fitted tracker installed when I ordered my bike. Not sure about retrofit options though. The figure of £250 springs to mind but I cant be sure.

Hi Richard,

there is a previous thread on this subect here on the 961 forum. I'm an ex security professional and after consulting with Nick when he was with Norton we came to the conclusion that the best security solution was good physical measures backed up with a tracking devise.

Cheers guy,s picked up a data tag kit at the excel today,sought out a data tool tracking device next week,fancy one of those Almax chain kits to ,but an awful weight to carry on bare bike, b t w noticed the KRazy horse stand had a 961 sport& a dominator on show,& some older models on the classic stand . Richard
