"Cheap" Nortons

I've noticed that a number of brand new unregistered commandos and dommies are starting to appear on the net at a great saving of over £2K on list price, which seems tempting. What seems unusual to me though is that most are not from Norton dealers.

Hi Richard,

I seem to be having problems with my web browser at the moment which will not allow me to cut and paste. Anyway one retailer is www.motorcyclesdirect.co.uk which I've just discovered is actually a new Norton dealer. Other bikes are being sold by Colchester Kawasaki which I don't think are described on their website but are listed on ebay.

The Colchester ones are on their site listed under Used Bikes in their menu. Then use search and select Norton.

Norton are getting to that difficult stage where increasing volumes are exceeding demand, I suspect the 961 will be allowed to die and the focus will turn to the V4 as the better prospect for premium pricing, you can get a used 961 in the US for 12000 usd.
