Warranty Work at the Factory

I rarely post negative comments about my bike or the factory. However I had been experiencing a niggling fault with the bike cutting out. There was no pattern to it doing so which was even more confusing. It had been back to the factory and returned without success in that within a hundred and fifty miles the fault had shown itself again. Now my bike is no longer under warranty. (I have the Bosch coils etc) When I contacted the factory on this occasion I spoke with both Kay and Rob on a conference call. I explained the problems, the length of time that they had been ongoing. After dealing with some of the background they agreed to have the bike back at their expense this time and dependant on what was found a decision as to who would pay for the work decided. I was happy with this and indeed told the factory to ride my bike exactly as I would. Rob I am aware of rode the bike on at least two occasions whilst it was there. The bottom line is that the factory supplied and fitted a new ECU and appropriate wiring. The difference was immediate and the bike starts and runs without a problem. It doesn't stall and I no longer have to feather the clutch. I took the bike for 180 mile shakedown yesterday. It never missed a beat and was the bike I always thought it was. I know early days yet to confirm that the problem is permanently solved, but the factory in the guise of Kay and Rob fitted the equipment free of charge. What can I say but a huge thank you to both them and the factory for resolving the issues. No drama, No fuss, No tears. I cannot give them praise or credit enough. I know that others claim not to have had the same service. Maybe just sometimes its how you ask.

Update More miles put on the bike yesterday and again running faultless.
