Does anyone know the length of the rear frame threaded bar, part number 21134. Its long enough to bolt up the frame and rear fairing but not quite long enough when I try and fit the grab handle. Parts have them, but no length given.

The total length of the stud required is 28cm The one I have is 26cmm, just a bit short.

Hi John,
This is shown in my parts book as the top rear frame stud for a Deluxe lightweight. Price 1/6d. Will be long enough for securing fairing and lifting handle as you say.
Part 21134A is the top rear frame stud for a Standard lightweight. Price 2/0d. Obviously different, probably shorter because it doesn't secure a lifting handle or fairing.
I hope someone with an original D/L can help you. You must have a fair idea yourself how much longer you require.
It's detail differences like these that make or break and probably not appreciated when reproducing and numbering parts for the spares scheme. No criticism of anyone intended.
