I just fitted a Kawasaki Z600 side stand to my Electra following the excellent instructions by Tom McMichael and it is a lot stronger than the original and way cheaper. I was thinking maybe some one has found a seat with a few alterations, that can be made to fit the Electra. I bought an Electra seat a number of years ago from Bantam John but can not get a reply. I have not had any luck finding a new one. Bryon.

No seat at all. Regards side stand Tom McMichael about 2 months ago posted with pictures how to use a Kawasaki side stand on a lightweight. Is it known if lightweight seats are still being made.

I think we could rename the Kawasaki side stand as a “universal” one - it’s on 4 models of Norton to my knowledge!
