There is always a problem working on an old engine that has been rebuilt by someone else, I have recently removed the primary chaincase and a large thin steel narrow washer fell out, it didn't seem to have a location and was held there by grease. My parts list does not seem very clear on this item. My question is:
Is there a seal behind the rear of the chaincase at the front behind the engine sprocket and if so what is it made of and where does it sit?
