1957 Dominator tank colours

Hello

The tank of my 1957 Dominator 99 need new paint. Roy Bacon "Norton Twins" says petrol tank in gray with chrome platetet panels. I have the panels, the rest of the bike ist black.

Which grey is the right one? Are there car colours matching?

Hi Helmut - If you refer to the thread raised on 24th October about colours of Dominators you will see a link to the website with colours and their modern equivalents.  Cheers, Howard

Hello well in these year's Norton used Colour's of polychromatic light blue or green or post office red  most off these where for export but many have come back as imports projects so always check in between the frame were the head stocks are there you just may find some of the. Motorcycle,s original colour. Yours Anna j
