What rating for kill switch?

Forums
Hi folksI'm intending to add a hidden kill switch to the ignition circuit on my Dommi and think I have found the ideal switch for the job. It is certainly the right size physically and is both weather and vibration proof. It is rated as follows and I would be grateful for input from those in the know as to whether or not it is up to spec as I admit my understanding of electronics is limited.Max. current/voltage rating with resistive load: 400 mA 32 VAC - 100 mA 48 VDCMuch obliged as always,J.

Not quite, coil ignition takes 2-3 Amps but you always need a but of safety/headroom so I would suggest that you have at least a 5Amp toggle switch as your kill switch with some decent connectors to it.
