Hi,
As my bike (possibly!) gets closer to getting on the road I am wondering what would be a sensible insurance valuation for a restored Electra?
Does the club help with valuations?

... under £10,000 is usually self-decalred with photos to support. My ES2 has an agreed value of £7,500 which may be more than I might be able to sell it for but would be how much it would cost to replace.
As far as the Electra goes, £5,000 would seem reasonable.

Insurance companies do not normally require a validation for values under £10,000. If required by an insurance company the Club will complete the relevant valuation section.
There are insufficient Electras on the market to provide an accurate valuation but if the Company thinks that you have overdone it they will tell you so. If it were mine and the photo looked good I would pitch it at £5.000. Tim
