Top yoke part number help

Forums

Well I'm having a few issues using clip-ons, wrists and hand numbness after 25 ish miles or so and so I'm thinking about putting some flats on instead. This will mean changing top yokes and in readinessI've got a 7 inch fork centre Norton yoke, it's got the part number 19018 underneath sothe question is willthese be OK for a 1958 Dominator, they're not sidecar ones or anything daft are they?I've tried looking at parts books and the part number in there is 19019 which is what they were sold to me as so I could send them back if wrong. TIA

hello well these should be OK But Vincent Straights Are not any better then the clip-ons if you are looking for more comfort in riding . I would go for the 4 inch rise bars they will be a bit better. I must say this My Norton Manxman has the most Comfortable Bars of all Norton's there 8 inch rise and 28 inch wide As I cut a inch of each side to get the bike in my work shop as the door are only 30 inch wide and I fitted lift up foot rest to by using the D shaped foot rest and I find them very Comfortable for my feet ,As I am now getting arthritis though out my body as the my joints are painful from time to time its called old age its catching up with me. so having a Comfortable bike too ride is nice. yours Anna J Dixon

Robert,ok, so probably not a side car one then as it doesn't have SC stamped anywhere but no clues on the number?

Anna, I'm sure I'll be ok with flats as I fitted them to a couple of Speedtriples in the past and found them fine and I don't want to go to high and spoil the Cafe Racer look too much.

Hello Well that right . I had Caferacers in he past they pull your arms out or its heavy on your shoulders . but it was good wile it lasted . in or days its all about comfort .but I can if I want too blow off any Harley and most Triton's my bike is geared up and as lots of power the clutch is the only weak link as the engine try's to pull the clutch of the end of the main shaft

my 650 as well over 52bhp . as I rebuilt this motor with some Special parts in it . so it not a slow bike, at all even with high bars
