Slow Action

Hi I feel the twist grip action is too fast when accelerating out of slow corners or roundabouts, it can send you all over the country.Does anyone know of a slow action twist grip [90 degrees or or more I guess] that fits or am I just being a wimp - my days of gouging a line in the tarmac at every corner with my stand are over? Ah where did those day go.

Thanks Roger

Hi Roger

I would be seriously impressed if you managed to grind out the side stand on a 961.

There must be something wrong if you can't accelerate smoothly out of a roundabout is there disconnection between your brain and right hand? Terry

Hi Roger I know exactly what you mean. The 961 is noR1 but even the lightest initialtouchon thatthrottle makes the bike a touch frisky and can catch you out as you say especially out of bends. it is just a case of getting used to it.
