Rocker oil feed banjo bolt thread type/size

Hi all!

Would anyone happen to know the thread size/type for the rocker oil feed banjo bolt? I've managed to strip the thread in one of my Navi heads, so am considering a threaded insert.

5/16" x 22 BSF.    

Just made a (modified) couple for my navigator.

Hi John!

Thanks muchly for that: I've found a local place that'll supply and fit an insert for me: I did inserts in my apprenticeship too many years ago, but don't trust myself doing it in the soft head (assuming aluminium).

The bolt is the same size for Dommi & Commando. See below.

Plus, on the lightweights, the head steady fixing stud has the same thread where it screws into the head - a departure from the normal Whitworth thread used elsewhere on the bike, where a stud goes into aluminium.

All sorted now, thanks to my local, oldie worldie machine shop. If anyone down my way (Portsmouth area) needs this kind of assist, here they are: https://www.bandaengineering.net/

They did the threaded insert on the Navi and in the past have done a hone and rebore for my Bantam... All quickly and at reasonable prices.
