Hi does anyone know how much oil goes in the primary drive?
What about all other capacities, pity about the manual.

Right. The gearbox and primary drive share oil. That is why there are no oil seals for the gearbox bearings on the primary side. You have to drain the gearbox and refill with 1.2 litres. According to the manual there is a FULL mark somewhere but I could not see it. It might be obvious to you.
What do you mean "pity about the manual". It is miles better than the old Dominator manuals. A bit better than the old Commando manual. You absolutely need one for a stripdown. It is tricky. Also need an oil pressure gauge in kiloPascals and a torque wrench in Newtonmetres.

The owners handbook is a joke. 33% of it consists of toatally blank pages. It even wastes ink by telling you that you are looking at a blank page!!! There is very little in this handbook to help an owner with servicing. This is probably done deliberately to force owners to have to use dealers for even simple tasks such as an oil change. The agent I went to charged £90 for oil and a filter change. I can get the same oil and filter for less than £30 and the video shows how to do the change.

I did actually say in my posting ..........Owner's Handbook which is different from the very extensive but expensive 961 Maintenance Manuals available. These were selling at £90 the last time I enquired about getting one. I have met a few 961 owners who purchased said manual and were pleased they did.
Attachment shows examples from Handbook. The only item of interest being the squashed bug.
