Hello William, first I…
Hello William, first I apologise to you for not responding to your request to contact you. Your bike looks great and is a credit to you.
Why are you thinking of a belt drive. If it's to cure a leaky primary there are alternatives like draining all the oil out and lubing the chain with modern chain spray lube. If it's to cure a slipping clutch new plates and springs may possibly cure that. All cheaper than an expensive 6 spring clutch. Beauty of the belt drive is they're lighter in use. The 6 verses 3 spring tension on the springs is less which means lever action should be lighter. They are quieter than a chain and smoother too, no chain rattling around sprockets etc.. Belts run dry so there's no oil in the primary to leak out and they don't slip. The plates are fibre and the don't have the same segments that a normal clutch uses so there's drum doesn't become 'toothed' by the plates. There's also the Pub brag "I've fitted an NEB belt drive clutch to the bike".
If you have any questions about my belt drive feel free to ask and I will answer as best as I can. The belt drive is intended for your particular gearbox unless it's been changed at some time. If you want to talk about anything else involving bikes I'm happy to do that to.
Tried firing up the Triton up to do some work on it but the Boyer Bransden let me down, no spark. I've sent blue ignition box, coil and black box to Boyer to check over. So far the blue ignition box is a duffer but the black box is ok. Still waiting coil test result.

No experience of belt drives…
No experience of belt drives apart from hearing tales of woes, with time the bugs will get sorted , in the meantime I have had trouble free chain drives for the last 60 years , albeit with the odd oil drip . And only one or two replacements.

Robert, thank you for your comment and you make a valid point but would like to hear from owners of bikes that have used them for a year or two to get their perspective as well. In any case will not rush into belt mod with out much more research. Thanks again.
