Does anyone have any knowledge/experience of the Oberon replacement clutch slave?

Hi, Clive.

I can't comment in respect of a 961 but I recently bought an Oberon clutch slave cylinder for my Aprilia SL Falco. In traffic the clutch gets very heavy and tiring to operate and the Oberon cylinder reputedly improves the leverage effect. There were certainly several positive reviews on line. Whilst the cylinder is very nicely made to be honest I can't really tell much difference, though I have yet to have a period of heavy traffic motoring to really test it out. Then again I couldn't tell much difference on my 650SS when I put the correctly dimensioned 7/8" levers on it even though they are supposed to make a lot of difference, so perhaps I'm just a real wimp?

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks for this info it's all valuable - I've just collected my Commando and so far the clutch bitefeels fine, contrary to whatsome people have reported. I thinkmy aching hand was due to a few years off bikes. I see that it is a Brembo slave so I would expect decent quality.
