Hi my new pair of stays arrived today for my Jubilee, where they are threaded should the threads just screw into to bottom of the fork leg, i thought before i ordered them that the threads should be long enough to go into and out of the other side of the fork leg so that a nut could be fitted, but the threads are probably long enough to go half way.
Any help would be great, alvin@manx.net

The stays also act as cotter pins to lock the axle in place. The threaded end protrudes through the fork leg and is clamped by a nut.
