What's wrong with it Brian? They are all pretty much the same inside. I have some parts for one Dollsheads and Laydowns. Also what part of the world are you in.

Sorry; Brian I been a bit…
Sorry; Brian I been a bit busy. When you say missing gears, is it finding "false" neutrals between gears i.e. 2nd to 3rd is a common problem. In my experience the selection issue is more to do with the self centering device of the gear lever. If your problem is slipping out of gears thats more likely to do with the actual gears within the gearbox.
I would start with the selector quadrant and its associated springs under the front cover. Worn pawl of ratchet teeth, or weak return springs are common issues, as is general poor movement due to corrosion if it is not used regularly.
Whilst I live in Nottingham area I work near Wakefield and would be happy to call in after work one evening when you are investigating. I'm no expert but have suffered similar issues with upright and laydown boxes on my 54 88 and 37 Inter MS.
With regard to a drawing , are you looking specifically for an inter laydown drawing of a general laydown one. There are some on the internet
Cheers
Jon
