Norton Electra engine factory drawings....

Forums

Anyone interested in anything like this? I have factory drawings of the Electra engine which I got from a friend that used to work for Norton in the late fifties and early sixties. I do not need them and never plan on owning an Electra. I have two large drawings that concentrate on the gearbox and electric start mechanism. They are traditional Blueprints that have "Norton Motors Ltd. Birmingham 6" in the corner along with all the other blueprint formalities. They are large, roughly two by three feet, they may even be about to scale.

They would be fantastic framed and hanging on the wall of the garage of some true lightweight enthusiast. I do not want a fantastic amount for them. I am not sure but I may have two sets of them, I will have to check, but I have one set for sure. I would like to exchange them for money, but I will always look at parts big and small that will fit featherbed Dominators or Manx Nortons.

Anyone interested in them contact me at sportspecial@hotmail.com.

Can you please advise me at lightweighttwins@nortonownersclub.org of what you have - drawing (or part) numbers - please.

It sounds like they might need to be in the archive
